Centrally located in Estonia on a greenfield a completely new plant has been put into operation. As an agricultural cooperation, Kevili offers a storage capacity of 50.000 tonnes and handles grain and oil seed products. In addition to storage the facility holds a state of the art low energy Mega Dryer with a capacity of 140 t/h.
“In the pre-engineering phase we acted as consultants to Kevili and took on the project on a turnkey basis in close cooperation with local contractors”, project manager Tage Fink explains. R&D Manager, Esben Friis explains; “A typical low energy MONSUN™ dryer provides for savings of approx. 10-15% in heat energy. This dryer is tailor made to Kevili and is definitely state of the art. It is a low energy dryer based on an integrated recirculation air system resulting in savings in heat energy, but in addition to that the Kevili dryer has been designed with a unique dust separation technology - a large dust chamber with axial fans that collects the dust from the exhaust air. A technology that results in significant savings of approx.45-50 % in electrical power consumption compared to a Venticlone technology.”
