Five years of expanded capability in bulk material handling
In November 2020, Lachenmeier Monsun acquired PAM A/S - a strategic decision that has since proven to be one of the most significant expansions in our history. Five years on, we can look back on a partnership that has strengthened our engineering capacity, broadened our product portfolio, and above all, improved what we are able to deliver to our customers.
PAM A/S is based in Odense, Denmark, and operates with a dedicated team of specialists who design, manufacture, and supply components and engineered solutions for the handling of bulk material. With roots going back to 1935 - founded as Poul Andersens Maskinfabrik, PAM brings decades of accumulated knowledge in pneumatic transport systems and bulk material handling to the Lachenmeier Monsun.
PAM A/S designs and manufactures a extensive range of components for the transport and handling of dry bulk materials. Their market-leading rotary valves serve as airlocks in pneumatic conveying systems, maintaining pressure differences, acting as explosion barriers, and ensuring controlled material discharge across a wide range of applications. Alongside these, PAM produces screw conveyors for transport, lifting, compression, heating, and cooling of bulk materials, as well as gate valves designed for powder and granulate handling, including high-temperature variants. PAM`s pneumatic conveying systems cover both dilute-phase and dense-phase pressure and vacuum transport, while cyclones handle dust separation and material recovery. PAM also supplies shredders for biomass and organic materials, and automatic debagging systems that eliminate manual bag-emptying in dusty environments.
Beyond standard components, PAM A/S delivers fully engineered, turnkey solutions - from concept development through mechanical and electrical components, automation, installation, and commissioning, serving as a single point of contact throughout the project.
