Chain conveyors type C are used with a standard chain for horizontal and inclined conveying up to 7° inclination of bulk materials with full product height and capacity.
For the chain conveyor type C, a chain with elevated carriers allows an inclination of 14° for bulk material. Full standard product height is not obtainable due to reverse running of chain with elevated carriers and a bigger return roller diameter, which leads to a decrease in capacity for several chain conveyor types.
Futhermore, smooth-running products may cause backflow/slip, which means that the capacity has to be calculated accordingly. For products with a larger sliding angle such as wood chips etc. and operation with low product height, it is possible to obtain the inclination of up to 30°
Chain conveyors can also be equipped with additional accessories to monitor the number of revolutions. Optional the chain conveyors can be equipped with capacity control, elevated trough, double bottom,synthetic bottom, pneumatic brush fittings, aspiration socket, elevated carriers for inclined conveying, and reversing device, etc.
